Bells of the poet
chime in the intemim

and locked within
the frozen prism
lives an ensemble of purple
amongst the others -

colors connected at the midway
waiting for the great thaw
of liberation

of icicle into liquid
letting the rainbow stream

Excellent poetry, Emma. The melting icicle is a great metaphor for finally getting over the pain, as is . . .
quote:
waiting for the great thaw
of liberation

Very moving poem this morning.

did you mean interim in that first stanza? I found intemim on the internet, it has to do with a report of sorts.

I just want help when I reread this if it's the latter.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
