There was no one around among the pines, Just us two, alive with a blazing fire. Lust and young love couldn’t get much higher, We were lustfully drunk as though on wine. Her mother’s house was a good mile away, I rained kisses on her against the trees. She sucked my tongue and pressed against my knee, I murmured softly, she did not say nay. We were in those woods that day to seal love, On the ground of soft pine needles we knelt. And into each others arms we did melt, It was just us, the trees, the sky above. Elvis playing softly on the cassette, Unbeknown what would become of us yet. ©January 14, 2014 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

This would read just as romantic had you written it on Febuary 14th. I'm glad you can go back to those times, my mind doesn't seem to want to go there. Lori |

When you have lovely memories like these ... time travel back is a splendid thing indeed. You've captured this moment in time beautifully, Jerry, much enjoyed. Best wishes, /Kit |

Yes, I agree, it is these sort of memories that cause a smile to appear on my mug. Thank you, Kit. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

When it happens to be in such a passionate turmoil it's wonderful to be among silent trees only who become guardians for lovers! You have no idea what memories your bewitching poem caused to surface ! It was in a vineyard (not even half a mile from home!) when I was unexpectedly introduced to a French kiss and I was so bewildered that I thought I was going to die on the spot ... but I recovered and ... fled! Sweet memories related to "Young love" are always a joy to read, dear Jerry. This was lovely. And of course Elvis was always part of romantic venues! Margherita |

That tongue in your mouth gave you so many lustful feelings you ran from them. Ahhh . . . but you came back. Yes, you had to return to that sensation. Maybe not to the same guy, but you would not be able to get that out of sight feeling out of your thoughts. Thank you, Margherita, I thoroughly enjoyed your comments. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |
