A Love That Is Mine

When she would
smile at me
and take my hand
I would melt
into SuzieLand
and when I
think of those times
I realize it was then
I fell in love
for the very first time
and with this love
I travel through
the seasons of time
with a love
that is living
in my heart
a love that
will always
be mine.

Lovely poem!
It reads so easily, but expresses so deep feeling.

Sometimes we carry those kinds of love to the grave.
