Caning his way
Through this world
Laid deep in his marrow
A single breath
Shared as a sigh
Never late as in gasping
Nor in belated goodbyes
Like a shade in the sunshine
Or a shroud in the night
The moon glows in reverence
To the one without sight

...just bein' Bluesy

Bluesy, if this is non-fictional, and you know the protagonist (even as a regular passerby in the street), I truly hope that you have read the poem to him.  If he has just one single poetry-bone in his body, he will never forget what you did.  I almost wish that I was blind and a man, so that I could be that person for whom the moon shone in reverence and for whom you wrote the poem.  Do you only write masterpieces?  Or do you sometimes write ordinary poems?
