God planted a garden,
The garden of Adam;
The garden of Eve.

With roses of gold
And silver mold
Adamant diamonds
And crystalline fronds.

Adam and Eve
They wasted away,
Just outside
The garden gates.

But the Lord God
Planted a garden
A paradise
Forever away.

Tis not a nature poem
Nor one of faith
Nor reproach
But an anecdote
Of sorts.

The Lord God
Planted a garden
That will never
A sentry
That'll never sleep
Atop mountain
Ooohh to steep.

The Lord God
planted a garden
That I'll never reach.

But the Lord God,
Planted a seed,
Planted a seed in me
Planted a seed in you.

A single seed
Bigger than days
Of Eve.

And the Lord God;
Planted a garden,
But the Lord God;
Also planted seeds.

And that is worth a hell
Of a lot to me.

Richard

That a "seed" was planted in us, I fully agree.

Everyone knows it but few really believe.

Maybe it's a seed of continuity, which is relative to each of us and is the one thing that makes us spiritual brothers and sisters.

The one thing that ties it all together making each of us a part of the whole.

Thanks for an inspiring write.
