I whisper your name
in the dark of night
your name
comes not from my lips
it drops
from my heart and soul
in alternating times
but mostly in the dead of the night
your name
passes through my lips
followed by juxtaposition
of recollection
of what we share
I say your name prayer like
it is not impounded
not sense of organization
no boundaries
your whispered name
sends my thoughts
on an endless remembrance

in the dead of night
I pray your name

I thank you, I think.

that dark spot of night brings out the poet's passion, the source of love beckons

You have just written a fine poem for your comment, Emma. Thank you.

I am so fond of your style of writing and the thoughts it projects. Read it over again and you encounter deeper sentiments. No need to say I really like this piece
