love’s fuse is lit
what will happen to it
depends
sometimes it has a tendency
to detonate

however
there have been times when
it glows from its core
and reaches out
keeping you cozy and warm

Hi Jerry,

Relating to the former rather than the latter has been the unfortunate result for far too many.

Nice legs to the right however.

It's my curse to be so easily distracted.

I hear you, Bluesy, and you are quite right, love's detonate more often than it is warm and cozy it seems.

If the mob governs, man is ruled by ignorance; if the church governs, he is ruled by superstition; if the state governs, he is ruled by fear.

You have that right Yann, love's fortunes are a gamble.

If the mob governs, man is ruled by ignorance; if the church governs, he is ruled by superstition; if the state governs, he is ruled by fear.

Sorry about the picture (drat yo self), but thanks for the comment.

The good Lord didn't create anything without a purpose, but mosquitoes come close.
