Hollywood
she stepped off the Greyhound
stars in her eyes
ten months later
couldn’t see the stars in her eyes
for the neon blitz boulevard
walking the street trying to make the rent
the stars in her eyes
were forever vanished
inside a crack pipe

A harsh reality. And the scenario could be so much worse sad to say. You are the king of in your face honesty.

A sad slice of life but too often true and poets tell the truth, Jerry.

Yes, it is sad, Ira, but as you say, truth is the truth.

Having lived in Anaheim (just South of LA), I have seen this play itself out far too many times....

GREAT job....

Yeah, I have lived and worked in Hollywood. There are some sad situations that, you bet. Thanks Ringo.
