Sometimes we give more than we should . . .

You came to me from the moon
And I, the sun welcomed you
You gave me smiles every day
I gave you tears to last forever

Interesting read this morning. I can paste many completing thoughts between the lines and ponder a while on each.

Thank you Rex, I suppose this isn't the kind of poem many will like, it is much too dark, but truth is the truth. I appreciate your input.

Ah how unhappy it is. You make me feel it with you.

Thank you Nan. I just can't get it out of my mind, and she died before I found out where she was.

Jerry…You pack a poignant punch with these few words, just like you meant them too.  Well done, though sad.

Oh, I meant them, Martie, very much so. Thank you for reading and commenting on a very sad part of my life.

The ache of this just lingers. It leaves one feeling helplessly sad.

I enjoy the darker side of things at times, myself. The truth is poetic, even if it hurts.

Thank you Kaoru, I let loose my dark side every so often. It is needed I think, for balance.
