The Camera Knows a Pretty Face

       Christmas choirs on display
       of colleges and universities
of ranks and rows of robes
of all the youthful faces singing

       The panning slows and stops
       the profile camera isolates
among all faces fresh and becoming
       one or two stand out

       An adequate description
       will forever remain elusive
so I can not tell you what it is
       the camera always knows

so true ... or is it the cameraman who receives a signal from a charming face and stops long enough to allow those who will watch to be captivated too. Much enjoyed your poem!

Love and peace.

wether it's  Monroe or Dean the camera loves them, that  indefinable spark that attracts the ghost in the machine,
Well written and thought provoking, much enjoyed Thanks for sharing . Happy holidays

Is this heaven?

It's amazing how our eyes and cameras are drawn to one among the many. I enjoyed this very much Krawdad!

Merry Christmas to you!

Best wishes,

Got that right!  Maybe it's "wired" that way??

Generally a pleasure to see it's target(s) though...

Enjoyed...
