When did it go, when was it gone,
If that is so, where does it belong?

A shady spot, for sitting at noon,
The water was tepid but still wet,
A cooler hot, resting between tasks,
The words and hearts never set,
Off we go, off we go.

When did it go, when was it gone,
If that is so, where does it belong?

A windy place, high in the hills,
Walking all day to watch the sun set,
Sharing a space, nothing is asked,
The answers would are always I forget,
I just don’t know, I just don’t know.

When did it go, when was it gone,
If that is so, where does it belong?

A dark shadow, hidden far from view,
Silent tears making aged skin wet,
Retaining sorrow, it’s all that lasts,
The questions no longer matter it seems,
Gone are dreams, gone our dreams.

When was it gone?

Gloom

How beautifully written and how tremendously melancholic... ahh the fleeting moments ... we seem indeed to lose them, but somewhere somehow the memories are maintained fresh I believe.

... in the ether ...

Love and peace.
