Lumpy oatmeal makes me crazy!

cat's on the kitchen window sill
and he had to cross the counter
he really should get in trouble
but he's so damned cute
with those round kitten eyes
that he got away with it

LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! Me too, a sucker for all kitty cats and their precious antics! Which kitty-angel is he?  Is he a new kitten or one of your other grown-up kitties with kitten eyes?  Will you please (pretty please) post a photo, even if not on the kitchen window sill?

Why is it that if I were to lie in a circle and fold my paws, nobody would think I'm cute, but any kitty-cuddle can do that from birth with immediate and total success?

I have five kitties and I'm the biggest sucker ever. You speak very well for all of us cat lovers.

There you go, Wol, Ida and Kit.

Please meet Thomas Thunder Paws.  Thomas (aka Boots) was my Mom's cat. He came to live with me last Christmas and is the instigator of my dog and cat pack.

Love ya'll.
A

PS ... Wol, He IS on the forbidden window sill.  See how terrified he is?

Thomas Thunder Paws, I am with you, window sills are observation points, who can resist? And your eyes say "I know I will be forgiven, because you adore me!". And of course you are aware of your beauty, yes?!

Dear Alison, thank you for this delightful post!

Hugs to you and a caress to Thomas Thunder Paws. I told Zelda the story and she smiled.

Love the poem (can't say as much about Cats thought . . .) Birds are my thing, and my bird feeders are sanctuaries though cat owners don't believe in that (they let them run free).

Really like your expression in this . . .

Though dogs are my passion, I loved this cute as hell poem, it put me in a good mood.

Jimmy, cats are the #1 killer of song birds. My cats are not allowed out for that reason.

Good for you, Alison...plumb proud of you! We've had 3 over the years because my wife loves them, and they were INDOOR cats that lived long healthy lives without ever going outside (and I bred and raised/kept caged birds too).

Thank you, Alison, especially as the photo is of His Royal Majesty on the kitchen window sill!!!  Oh, you precious, darling, cute, magnificent, powerful “Firefrorefiddle fiend of the fell”, adorable, clever, sweetie-pie, King Thomas Boots Thunder Paws!!!!  Auntie Di adores you!  And, ohhhhhhh, those eyessssssssssssssss!!!!  . . . . now if I were a female kitty-cat, I would be in the long queue of female kitty-cats for just one glance from the magnificent Thomas!

And, Alison, ROARS of laughter at how “terrified” (continued roars of laughter) the King of the Alison household is!!!!  And giggles at the pictures in my mind of his instigating dog and cat incidents in his kingdom.

I really hope he doesn’t mind the “cute” and “adorable” and “sweetie-pie” part of this – but as regal as he is, and as excellent as he is at being Commander-in-Chief, the truth is (as you and I and all his other adorers well know), that he really is cute and adorable and a sweetie-pie.

Thank you SO much for this superb portrait of His Royal Majesty (I hope that makes up for the cute/adorable/sweetie-pie bit, King Thomas!)

Love and hugs to you Alison and hugs and kisses and cuddles to King Thomas, if His Gracious Royal Majesty will accord me that pleasure!

Wol/Auntie Di
