it was spring-like
for days on end until yesterday
when suddenly
in the late afternoon
the temperature dropped
fifteen degrees within a hours time
the abrupt change
dashed my spirits completely
woke up this morning
had to actually dress for the cold
I’ve a heavy coat
with hood covering my head
fleece-lined gloves
still I was cold
I will shiver throughout the day
until wine time
will ease
the winters’ chill

I say wine time is anytime when you need a little kickstart to warm the bones.

Winter has come?
I don't know what your weather is like right now and if it's normal. Recently our temperature also dropped 15 degrees and now it's about -17°C.

cold and snowing here in the 'endless' mountains of 'ol Appalachia ...

although we had 3 "Indian Summers" also (into early Dec.)  Weather/Climate will be behaving increasingly erratically via 'global warming'

Yeah, I imagine you would be getting some cold by now, global warming or not. Thanks for the read and comment, Bruce.

Looking forward to a warm spell it is supposed to get up to 30 today! WooHoo!
No wind chill!  Maybe in a few days we'll see 40 before the temperature plumets again.
Nothing like a chill to make a peerson break out their favorite warmers
