BEHIND THE CURTAIN
23 November 2013

As dark clouds blanket blazing sun;
as hen feathers fluff round tiny chicks;
as forest ranks close on symbiotic lodgers;
so know we not the dismal woes
sweet smiles cocoon.

It behoves us all to walk unshod,
not crush a sometime wounded soul
and smiles unwrapped and offered up
should be honoured there and then with joy
and reverence and our own.

Nice! I loved the line:
"It behoves us all to walk unshod,
not crush a sometime wounded soul . . . "
