Toerag’s pop quiz

I found your little quiz neither trivial nor trite
It’s a test of soul, a quiz of life, a mirror in the night
It’s the things that in your heart are the most cherished and most dear
It’s the sum of who you are, your image crystal clear
I did not answer even one, for they are yours alone
to ponder your reflections and the lifeline to your home
There are still those issues unresolved and tremblings in your heart
It only takes one friend to pray beneath your special star
it’s just one friend who stands beside you on the blackest night
a suthern girl who knows you and gets every answer right

I was just about to send a text to let Toe know that his Pop Quiz had popped back up - and I saw this. You know me well enough to know how deeply this touches me... so all I can do is thank you for writing it... and more... thank you for always being a friend. Toe doesn't have internet access right now, but I hope he can find a way to peek in soon. Hugs to a lady whose talent is exceeded only by her big heart.
