    Autumnal Requiem

From where comes
the lonely Autumn wind
through a thousand miles
of grey-sullen clouds and
  empty trees,
on a dismal rainy dawn
when there are no more
leaves to do their spiral
dance of death … only
pine cones falling now
on the barren slopes
of drear November,
in the wake of this
shadowless wanderer,
along the deadly razor edge
of a bleak-relentless
  Winter of life,
forever far beyond the
fleeting bloom of Summer's
promise and the cruel,
ephemeral song of Spring.

Bruce, “requiem”, “death”, “drear”, “bleak”, “cruel” in your pen become Nature’s foreground brushstrokes of her wild and realist artwork.

10/18 was the date 'Kacy' first fell ill. The advanced C.R.C. was initially misdiagnosed.
Another 'light' left this poetry board and the world with her passing.
