Cool upon my face,fresh breeze
turning chill, suddenly it was there
before my eyes,the woodland glowing.
Scarlet, tangerine, butter yellow,secret shaded

dry clanking branches blown together,dark
boled trees stately in silent sleep.
Listening intently,waiting,paper leaves at my
feet,but you did not come...

Peace is not only better than war, but infinitely more arduous - George - Bernard Shaw.

I like the mood to this, a bit sad, a lot sweet and altogether seasonally lovely

Every word, le mot juste, the whole poem, quiver-beautiful and shiver-sad . . . a dewdrop gem.

The ambiance this little piece creates is quite tangible.  Much enjoyed.
