In your dreams

The Sun Sets

Sometimes I wonder...
Why the sun sets so beautifully
Upon the the little ripples
That cascade across the water...

Or why the mourning follows the night
Though the darkness has faded
And the world is reborn in light
As if Nothing had happened.

"As if Nothing had happened."

Perhaps nothing did, metaphysically.

Universal poetic topic.

Enjoyed!

What an achingly sad and beautiful tribute to John, Juju.  I know he reads it.

You say so much with very few words.  Beautifully rendered.

I feel that it is natures way of letting us know and comprehend to keep on keeping on, never give up on our dreams or what is important to us. One guys opinion. Your poem give much to reflect upon.

Why why why? That is the mystery of life and while we have asking minds and thoughts to articulate those questions we will always have good poetry like this one..thank you for sharing..
