PIPES AND DREAMS AND OTHER THINGS

Wordlessly you would have
known
with me
the mesmerising passion
and grace
of the paso doble
of those palm trees
flirting outrageously
in their sensual dance
with the blue
of summer skies
to the tune
of teasing breezes
that try to cool our brows.
