She gave me three days to grieve
Then helped me up
With a pat on the butt
and a gentle push, said “that’s enough”
since then, although I miss,
I feel an uncanny bliss
Because I feel her smile
See her face, full of guile
Lovely, selfless K,
Gave more away
Than she ever took

~I dare say everyone's personal experience with her was different because she had a way of reading people and giving what they needed and I believe this in turn gave her a little of what she needed. I honor her memory and our friendship by living to the fullest and being grateful, for everything even that which tests me.

~Note on the use of "Guile"-K often would listen  and purposely not mention her own struggles until after the fact. Hence, the use of that word..

Thank you K. *fk*

The best poem concerning her I have read.

~*~ If they give you lined paper write sideways. ~*~

Susan, this is Karen right into her heart.I felt as close for the same reasons. She talked I listened, I talked, she listened. Never a one sided  chat, as so many demand. Thanks for this , jo
