We never said good bye
the wind blew in all directions
like a last hurrah.
The time changed
and leaves fell
the chill of winter
and mixed emotions
settled like a flurry
breathing in whispers
dusted white.

The skyline cleared
long after the springtime of my life
treasures
buried deep
beyond reason
between shadows of the seasons.

I keep you near
and dear to my heart
passing by
through my minds eye
missing you there
in those moments we shared
knowing
we are never going back.

Well done reminiscing of the past. Though hurtful you have found a way to miss what you had in a good way. Sometimes things were just not meant to be. I very much liked the tone of this.

the memory is sweet long after the wind
scatters the pieces of once upon a time romance of the heart
real smooth...........

This tugs at my heart strings, dear Bluesy Gal! If we miss something/someone it means it was very special to us so I'm not sure if one can ever really miss it in a "good way" - in the heart that is no matter what the mind knows.  Just a big sigh now for everyone because we all can miss so much if we're a certain type of person.  Sometimes I envy those who can totally block out "yesterday".  That said, stunning poem! So good to see you here again.

Just beautiful, Blues, but then I always find something special about your poetry.

Put me in the perfect mood.

"beyond reason
between shadows of the season"

Nice, that sings to me like a song.

This feels like the easing from summer into fall and of a May to September love wilting away. Dig it!

Those fleeting moments are the best, aren't they? Those are the memories we won't forget. Enjoyed.

Powerful imagery.  I loved it, even though it was sad overall, you've preserved something precious in this that you will always have.  Beautifully done.
