an unnatural glow
hovers around the streetlight
a forbearer
of what might be yet to come
perhaps
its almost dawn
the glow of the light pulses
there's no sound
absolute silence permeate the darkness
except for the man's heartbeat
unaware what is behind the pulsating glow

Fear of the unknown is a gripping fear. Appreciate your thoughts on the poem, Ida.

Thank you so much, Lori. Most of us have problems with such as what I described.
