She touched her eyes
as if she was watching herself
fold over another mans small set of feet

She fell over the small part of the wide plains
farmland
where she would touch his arm
gracing and bracing her
wrapping his eyes,
green, hazel,
trade the stares for blind sighs
for the noise could't object to their silence
legs lapping over his lap
and she asked that night
if the region of wine
would resemble the color of her dress

The way a woman sees light
ahead of the sun
ahead of mine
Untouched,
Feet side by side
like November and December;
winds flight with the birds flocking to the South
Strangers,
acquaintances
now lovers
crashing the candle wax
touched nights plan
bodies revered by the sunrise
as it rose over the oceans cliff.

A fine poem, beautiful nuances moving through it,the graceful way two people touch and the interactions perfomed within their immediate settings.

Enjoyed reading this it moves within the mind like sunshine bathing it with a relaxing balm.

Thank you.

GR-

Happy you were so moved by the piece.  I always take great pride in trying to describe two souls, alas, I'm still searching for those right string of words.  Hope you're well.

Cheers
