Fair to middlin' of nowhere

I was accosted
last night
And this wasn't
the first time
the humidity
took me down
with it's muggy
and ran off with
my cool and dry

I can relate to your problem, Lori. I live in high humidity Louisiana.

Do not know how you can stand it! I would be going around looking like a wilted swamp thing

Oh how I hate humidity.  Will take the desert's dry heat any day of the week rather than deal with that again.  California's higher cost of living became well worth it after a year of Florida's humidity.  Nice reminder of what I'm missing.

I wonder if all those older folks move to Florida because the humidity is good for their skin...like rehydrating a prune! You would have to pay me an obscene amount of money to live there (in misery). I've lived in New Mexico for a while, I know the luxury of dry heat.

here in the city you not only deal with the humidity but also the pollution in a condensed area with millions of people so yeah I can relate.

oh c'mon James don't you have those ever present delightful Hawaiian Island breezes we mainlanders pay big bucks to come to enjoy?
Having only been there in my dreams, I will defer to you opinion.

Poetically Ghetto
hey thanks for giving me a read! Smog sucks.
I'll take my misery plain thank you. I will say in my podunk piece of prairie, that is not an issue.

Lori - It's never the number of times you're accosted that counts. It's the number of times you survive. Human endurance! You gotta love it. I liked this work indeed Lori. Namyh
