Fall sun,
shadowy waifs recumbent
verdigris clad, upon umber,
somnambulant scrawling quills
dance dusty death rattles,
for Mariah.
Ashes of summer,
mould my Gethsemane,
Vesuvius cocooned,
dormant,
enticing equinox.

Is this heaven?

shoeless Joe Jackson.

Not sure I followed the train of thought here correctly, but enjoyed the imagery nonetheless.  Intriguing read.

somnambulant... what an interesting word used in such an interesting way.
