Moonlight is "serious",
an artist once said,
don't let the moonlight
fall on your bed.

Especially afflicted
by lycanthropy ?
then veto "blue" evenings,
in ol' Kentucky.

When dating..
or mating,
in full of the moon,
sequester yourself
in a small padded room.

If swimming at midnight
is more to your taste,
avoid the "moon river"
don't paddle in haste,
with banks a mile wide..
or wider, I've found,
please heed my advice,
or surely you'll drown.

Is this heaven?

shoeless Joe Jackson.
