I remember Dean Martin in his prime

a different era . . .

a different thought process . . .

That is so true! Language was differnt then too. Younger generations ask "what was so great about _____? It is so hard for them to relate to the trend setters of yesterday, that today still has root in.
I think there are parts of decades (like the 1950's economy) we wish we could bring back as easily as the music and the movies.
You got me thinking early this Monday morning my friend!

You have captured the essence of my little poem, Lori. Would that it were possible to bring back the thought process of that era.

swampguy - It seems that each age has its own music, its own way of talking and its own likes and dislikes with the previous generation often not understanding it. I guess to have progress, there must be stepping stones of change. Personally, I've always loved Dean's voice best. It's a generational thing you know. Most enjoyed swampguy. Namyh

Thank you Namyh. I know it says Paderewski, but it is swampguy. I changed computers and Windows 8 and me are NOT getting along. Thank you very much for your very nice comment.
