Every single soul I have ever known
Every creature born, every lily grown
Every bird that flies undisturbed and free
Every star that shines in the galaxy

Everything we crave but have never seen
All that ever was or has never been
All beyond the reach of our outstretched hand
All the knowledge yet undisclosed by man

All magnificence in the earth and sky
All creative thought, every lullaby
Every miracle on the brink of birth
Every soul to step foot upon the earth

He has walked your pathway a thousand times
He is in the ink of my rhythmic rhyme
He has been aware from the very start
Every prayer that waits in your lonely heart

A comforting and deeply moving poem, Elizabeth.

ES - You have wonderfully captured some of the essences of this life for all of us to appreciate if we haven't already. There is a rhythmic lilt to your words which shows the craft of creativity that only the poet can bring. Very nice work Elizabeth. Much enjoyed. Namyh
