A myriad of leaves
frills the parched gaps
its quilting circles
crinkle with voices
bittersweet, winking with
Fall's preamble at the
pinnacle of Summer's love

some retain their yellow
some forsake their green
many morph then fade
their colors and burn as
embers, as such this warped
romance, bleeding out
from you, from me

You neatly tied in the love "of you, of me" into the dying away of the flowers in the fall of the year. Neatly done. Yes!.

it contains such beauty in the differing people and states of love, thats how I saw it, blended together.

Your expression is so very indicative of what we secretly fear even when everything is at its best.

Very intense and beautiful.
