These hands have worn victories over your body--
to think I knew the delicate skin from each encounter;
hauntingly now it amasses my memories,
and back came the thoughts of old—so cliche
yet no words can speak it any differently.
But your mind is a differing flavour—full of secrets
that shall not see the light of day’ confessions
only in the silence of your eyes; i’ll smother you
with the famish that has come of me’ breaking
bread before your red palate’ before pulling away.

What can I say that has not already be read in the
pages of another mans labours of love’ and a foolish
womans heart that overpowers the stains of pride--
be it not this evil that has arisen in just men, but of
both sexes! But wasted on the few that do not beguile
its wreath’  trembling I know I must overcome the
passion of my lover’ no longer my lover, but the mind
keeps fancy to such—nothing shall drain my desire
but my own thoughts’ but awash I am of thoughts
like rushing water through a hole I wait the drips to
take their tide and go—courageously I await to be
plucked from my drowning’ and forced to confront
that which holds its shadow naked upon me’
whispers, not my own, nor you’ but past.

Ready my arms—for I have seen this day’
my heart a breast, upon the scenes of old--
aware of only you’ when once I see the passage
of our lies; deceit, the flickering flame
How does one so young love one so aged--
a differences of mind’ for forgive me
yet yours is still flowing the stream
but I further down the river look back,
yet cannot help’ for it is a path alone.

Alas, I tremble—calm as the blossoming
courageously plucked from the safety
of my inner world; engaged in the wonderment,

Sail for the sea is sorrow;
wail and my heart has spoken--
these words known only by me,
and said wrong in another mind
how do you know heartache like I?
where feelings drain from my entire being...
flowing like sand from my grasp,
memories clinging on, a raw scratch
upon the skin’ washed off with pain,
your tender mark lingering upon my
flesh’ and how am I to know?
How am I to care? Where now is my
hope? There, I left it all with you.

The emotions you write of are so intense, and the missing so real!

Very nicely done, I felt every word!!!
