Fair to middlin' of nowhere

You left
behind
emptiness
that lingers
in the quiet
hangs heavy
in the dark
making your chairs
conspicuous
places

All will be well. This is very good.

I know you are right my friend. I keep thinking about a line from one of Ice Box's poems:

no solace for my anguished soul,
I find emotion's shopworn souvenirs
too tedious to carry.

and like I asked him, "how do you set them down?" I'm just a big o ball of mushy emotions I guess I should be used to it by now...or grown out of it. LOL!
