Fair to middlin' of nowhere

To see you smile
without the pall of worry
To see that burden off your brow
To hear you breathe
without curses on your breath
To hear you say
where you been
what you did
not what all you got to do
To smell your sweet refreshed
instead of toil and sweat
To smell my favorite aftershave
after you get home
is worth you going away for awhile
to your favorite vacation place
is worth all those kisses I get
to plant on your face
As we both say
“I missed you”

Absence makes the heart . . . Well you know. I understand what you're saying.

Good morning friend! Yes, it does. I told him he better go and have a good time and come back rested and rejuvinated otherwise he might as well stay home.

This is very tender and yes it is so true, that a separation every now and then has usually very positive and enjoyable effects.

Very nice.

Margherita, I believe you are right. This vacation to Sturgis we usually take just him and I (no kids) and other friends we camp with. It is a special time for us. So not only will I miss him but also that time away together. It' be easier if he was going on a business trip. Bottom line always is coming home safe and sound.

Your writing is improving with time
love, missing, kissing, hating,
loving all of it....

Yes...your writing

is.
