They say that justice is blind,
I say it’s a state of mind.
A blindfold over justice's eyes,
So she cannot see the lies.
If we are poor and without,
In a court of law we've no clout.
Wouldn't it be best if she
Remove the blind so she could see?
So then she might be very sure,
To find justice honest and pure.

Good morning Lori. Our justice system is probably better than most, but it can still be so blind that it misses a few.

It misses more than a few and money is the key.  I know people that buy their way out of trouble all the time. Thank God for DNA testing and more innocent people being released.

Yep, money talks, Lori, no two ways about it.
