.

To my side I hear a sound
Of waves upon a hull

I call
The fog is thick
I hear a responding feminine
Parallel course
Through the mists of color

I wonder
If on this journey
You could see
Your being near me

Just out of sight
But there

Like you
I know not where I will or am
Only
That I must go on

Would you mind
I’d  like to hear what you see
With all your eyes

Those woman's words
In a woman's voice
Would mean so much

Often I fear the scars
Of even my own victories
And I will share
The braveries
I've learned
When your own injuries
Dread the dark

The wind is up
I stay the wheel
Through the evening
Again I call

Are you there
I am here

Sailing
Sailing
Perhaps we are going

Together home

In this most refined and intimate "call" you really unveil the nucleus of your heart where there is room only for pure love.

Dear Helen most certainly hears you.

Intensely touching, John.

Well, I have no favorites on this subject - other than Helen of course.  I think it's wonderful that everyone is writing to/for/about her, and beautifully so . . . so I'm just going to add this to everyone's piece so you'll know I was here, read, and experienced again, the tears for her...
