Fair to middlin' of nowhere

0 posted 2013-07-06 08:23 AM

As I go through my day
doing what I do
I will be thinking about you
Wondering if your mind
is spending time on me
I'll wonder if you're worrying
or your thoughts are gentle
warm and contenting
Maybe you find me frustrating
or still find me to be tempting
I'll wonder if your mind
wanders like mine does
to the way it was
when we were new
Nothing else existed
except me and you
As I go about my day
doing what I do
that is how
I'll be thinking about you
.

Beautiful thoughts indeed, Lori. You have allowed your Goddess to direct your words this morning and it shows.

She is the only one that is really awake this morning Jerry...I'm still on auto-pilot drinking coffee... She had it written before I knew what hit me, LOL!

Gee, I do so understand this, and the Goddess comment as well..   Who else would be up and around doing some poetic musings on a sleepy Saturday morning as I doze still

I have come to cherish my writing time in the early morning when everyone is contently sleeping and I can watch the dawn from my porch or cuddle in my recliner.

Thanks EmmaRose

As long as your distractions are the sweetness of observing dawn and a poem as beautiful as this that wants to be written, there seems to be still enough passion to fill your heart.

Margerhita, My porch and poetry are my distractions from my distractions. And yes, my heart is full.  Thank you for commenting.
