Spring poem

I look up
through thick wide branches
fillled with tiny fragrant blossoms
that rain down upon me
The drone of workers
Feverishly dance
mating with flowers
Ignite my senses
I stand here, again
to catch the nectar
on my tongue
still sweet as before
I missed spring, when he was gone.

Well, we can look forward to fall. I always do. Spring was nice but seemed rather short this year and I miss it to.

It seems to me all the seasons rush on by, but some are delicious to the senses because of who we have in our beds and thoughts. Nice probing poem, Ms E.

Yes, Ida spring flew by this year!
Watching the butterflies brings back spring's
feeling of renewal.

JP- Lol,"delicious", a delightful word!

I love the way you ended this.  It reminds me of how much more we tend to appreciate every little thing around us when with the right other.  Gonna be 106 degrees today here, I am missingspring too, if for different reasons.  Enjoyable read, Ms. E.
