Fair to middlin' of nowhere

0 posted 2013-06-27 04:05 PM

I reminded him again
about the difference
between words and actions
Love is a verb
not a noun
It is all in the showing
not the telling

I reminded him again
about the difference
between who hugs who
You don't hug me
I hug you
It is all in the wanting
and the doing

I reminded him also
there is no difference
if dirty or clean
I will hug you
You not me
It is all in the loving
and the needing

I can't argue one iota with the brilliant assessment you have produced here, Lori.

Well said. Hopefully, the heart
is not deaf.

Hugging you.

Karilea! so good to see you here!  No, the heart is not deaf, well intended to distraction perhaps, but not deaf.  Thanks for commenting.

Love,

Thanks Gale.  Though I must admit I have a few exceptions to my own words- I prefer not to have axel grease handprints on my new white pants or shirts and I'm really quite qrateful we don't raise hogs. But even so I know there could be times even that wouldn't matter. I appreciate your comment.
