The excitement of youth is spent,
The shadows of age I behold.
Old age has gone and pitched its tent,
Some, not I, sit around and mold.

That's not me, I feel more alive,
With old age mysteries I thrive.

Ah yes, the mysteries of old age:
Why does this hurt?
Why doesn't this work any more?
Why did this fall out/off?

Dying of curiosity keeps me alive too!

Ah . . . That wicked wit of Lori strikes again. Thanks for a few smiles and a laugh.

Jerry, I expect you're not 100 years old yet?!
You looks younger on your photo )

I am seventy-four Gale. The picture is three years old. I'm grateful I have good genes. Thank you for showing up here today, it is appreciated.

I'm really surprised, Jerry!
I would never guess )
Although I know about such effect.
People use to say that I look ten years younger than I really am
But anyways I believe that senility isn't the matter of time. Someone can get old in 18, someone stays young in 90. Perhaps it's the matter of suffering.
But if I related "age" to the time scale, I would say that senility is when you're 90, but your teeth haven't changed again

Hah! That's one way of looking at it, Gale.
