The heron vanishes in the distance
a lone cloud floats away
the river flows on forever
through these rolling hills
  and seasons
who never tires of my company
only the wilderness

A setting sun
bids farewell
to the evening star
moonlight fills this
lake of dreams
An evening wind
makes these forest
shadows dance

Long-shadows gather
with the setting sun
Twilight whispers
to the rising moon
This old path disappears
in the deep-forest calm

The woods are in full Summer Bloom
mid soft moss and shadows in the
  dapple-sun
here peace and serenity abound
where time does not compel our lives

The noble summer moon appears in grandest splendor
amid a twilight tapestry of dancing constellations
Here on the deep-forest edge of vanishing wilderness
all our finest thoughts, memories, and dreams echo
forever down the corridors of Time
