    The Only ‘truth’ Worth Knowing

In this place of deep-forest serenity
amid an infinite mix of silently spinning
clouds, stars, memories, and dreams,
where lakes and mountain tops
are bathed in gentle, uncertain
   moonlit shadows,
and one stands adrift and alone
near the end of life’s labyrinth,
with only the voices of a Summer
wind and the spirit of the wilderness,
love remains the only human truth
   worth knowing.

Even so, sometimes love can be thwarted with deceitful lies I have noticed. Taking nothing away from the truth of your beautiful poem, Bruce, just an observation of mine.
