Her small jeans wore themselves
onto his shy skin that night

Where the olive branches used
to touch a soft springs idle banter
her shadow bounced against the grasses forum

Under the peach tree they sat
with her arms around his shoulders
like a soft silent stream of a restaurant signs shadow
as it stands against the nights gasp.

Their legs crossed over one another
her right tangled just enough in-between his
with the weeds trailing not too far behind

not too far from Georgia sweet smell
the dirt roads
the stews permeating through the air
as they sat side by side
until the peaches morning rise
