Odd, one minute I'm calm
in a golden meadow, the breeze
filled with sweet nectar.
The next thing, within seconds,
I tell you
I'm suffocating as if
an anaconda was coiling
around my body. Oh how it's body
squeezed deep around me,
taking the calm into
panic, golden meadow becomes
a dark forest. That breeze made
of sweet nectar
is nothing more
but a memory. I try to
BREATH...but it
coiled even tighter in
hope of a fresh meal. However,
I desire not to be
a strangled chicken
so I calmed down,
took a DEEEEP
breath. My mind began to settle,
as well as my heart.
Tried to tighten it's grip,
yet I was more at ease.
the snake looked disappointed,
sad that this meal
was kicking back. Uncoiled
itself from me, sadly
my fear slinked away
into darkness.
