    ‘Zen musings’

sun behind ‘endless’
   hills
twilight calls___
one star answers

the setting sun___
dances with the
  evening star

morning surf
shell strewn beach___
a sky filled with
   seagulls

empty shed
swinging door___
sunlight on a
  broken pot

infinite galaxies
boundless universe___
singing of ‘Deep-Time’

clouds dancing
with the stars___
crescent moon

wildflower bending
with the dragonflies
    weight

summer evening breeze
the dance of moonlight
    and shadows___
windchimes play

Bruce, each of these musings sparkles more than a diamond - far more like a dewdrop kissed by the morning sun.  This is minimalist poetry at its most excellent best!  Sometimes haikus, and other similar short poems, tend to be bland, but "bland" is hardly a word that could ever describe your work.

So many of life's joys all in one poem, Bruce and presented with a master's touch.
