Once thriving on trellis
detached by winds blown by
the moring glory from her throne,
in abstract pieces blues the fields
that yearn for Sunday sermon

lay down your petrified tears
your bayonets and nightmares
of Perdition

the great Earth's womb
will heal your broken bones
and shelter from the demon's
interception.

I hear you loud and clear, EmmaRose, but I fear there will be few takers of this peace plan. We humans have the blood of the past in our veins to continue the slaughters. It's a shame, but it is a fact.

Though I saw your fields of blue as being melancholy, no Sunday sermon, I do believe your poem, for the babies, compliments the fields of white.  Enjoyed!

Wonderfully done, my friend.  I agree with both Jerry and Bob ... and you, of course.
