     Dark crystallized myths
     abound in the human mind.
     Blood's most always shed.

     Darkness may hide the shadows
     But light defines them sharply.

I love this and the depth of your thoughts, Ed.  Whew!  This one really went for the solar plexus!  I think that your and Charlie’s make an excellent pair of poems.  Though my interpretation of what daylight brings in his poem is different to my interpretation of what it brings in yours, I think it makes the two poems being together, all the more wildly fascinating, and all the more delicious, though dark and weighty in content, on which to ponder, and pondering is one of my many pleasures.  I can honestly say I have never not been awed by a single of your poems.  Thank you for the unwavering richness of your mind, and the art and excellence you display in expressing it.

There is much to ponder here, with the play on the visual as well as the words Krawdad. Light with shadow, artistically intertwined.  Very much enjoyed!

Best wishes,
/Kit
