Odd I See Us
*********

Sit by the fire
and speak to me

of wishes,
worries and woes

Loosen your tongue

Release your dung

adorned with
ribbons and bows

Give breath
to thought

Dragons
you've fought

Journeys,
all taken
within

The flames
are allured

by the trials
you've endured

in the name
of kith and kin

Seeing says a sight is seen

Hearing harkens to a sound

Seeing and Hearing remain the same
when no sight or sound is found

Speak

of the
goblins
of Congress

The Wizards
and witches
of Love

Give voice
to the throes
of demons below

Bring down
the gods
from above

Sit by the fire
and speak to me

Tell me
a Hero's tale

Weep and rejoice

Give breath
to voice

that the wind
may fill
your sail.

If one's fishin' for relationship, I think, perhaps, you've opened the whole can of worms here with this one.  Enjoyed!

Ha ha ha ha ha, I absolutely love this. Sounds like a match made in heaven.

Liked the flow of this one, and the idea of sitting around a fire sharing bard's tales.  Enjoyable piece.
