I still feel you
though the distance
between us
feels so thick
and heavy
only an
emotional
machete
could clear
a way to
reach
each other
again…
I talk to you
about nothings
and hear about
everythings
I avoid your irritable
and wait with
love and lonely
I feel your fear
and dodge
your bullets
I share your helpless
and bite
my tongue
I try to comfort
and suffer
your rebuff
I moon around
your world
of hurt
gravity pulls
at my parts
washed out
with the tide
I see
your lunacy
and think
of mine…
I share your burden
and cry
by myself
I still feel you
not feeling me
at all

The lopsidedness, the heaviness of your mooning around his lunacies and causing your own, the nothings that your's are considered vs the everythings of his, OMG! Jerry got it absolutely right! Very Good Poetry, sooooooo Good, Deeply Emotional, Enjoyed!

LHBob- thank you for seeing the poetry despite the saddness.
It'd be nice if it could always be roses... but sometimes you have to fertilize the flowers...Either they will grow like crazy or you burn 'em up... If you don't do anything they can just shrivel up and die...
