Our neighbors laugh,
Our neighbors cry.

Oblivious we lock the door.

Our parents fight,
Our lives are blight,

Its daily life
There are few words,

We are you,
We are I,

Our song is mute
Our will is damp

Together we are the silenced,
Forever singing
The song of a silent choir.

yolilitzli (a word meaning life, my names richard by the way)

I think your poem strengthens the belief that there still is a silent majority. Enjoyed!
