Owl

< Talons, sharpened to a T >
take to writing poetry
and "clause" it up into a blue
forum of poets tried and true
where heads do spin and rise do
brows but never dull these
pages now that owl is
posting present
prose and keeping us
upon our toes in awe of
tumbled prairies shared;
the intimate, the "Gone"
declared, "When words
won’t come," "A mo-
ment's grace," she
wrote them all and gave a taste
of what it's
like to be
an ace.

Thank you, Bob.  It is lovely.  I see you have the poem shaped as a silhouette of an owl on a branch and titles of some of my poems in it!  Wow!  I am blown away and puzzled as to what I have done to deserve such a beautiful penning, and such compliments.  Smiles.

And that you did, indeed, Bob!  Smiling is one of my favourite occupations, though currently, I don’t do too much of it, so thank you again for your beautiful and much valued gift!

Oops, Bob!  Not a silhouette - you put in my eyes and beak as well - (and of course, ears, but I noticed those right away, but forgot to mention them)!  You are a perfect portrait painter.  It looks just like me!

Thanks Kat! I see in your signature that you're an artist as well. Enjoyed!

Owl, I suppose it does look just like you! LOL! Thanks for coming back and thanks for coming back and focusing on details. You know, right? owls do have very, very good eyes for that sort of thing, detail, and, though it's a kind of 'crux' that I have and it's not a very good one, I admit, I did include a pun just for fun.  Thanks, again, I'm very, very happy that you're very, very happy with your poem. (Big Smiles!)
