She's A Lady

I met a lady
who claimed to be
Mrs Englebert Humperdink,
she was way too gorgeous
to not believe.
I ask her to name
a few of his hits,
she said thats easy
and pulled out a scribbled list,
the only  problem was
none of the songs listed
were Englebert songs,
they were the greatest hits
of Tom Jones...
I told her the list
was all wrong,
she said not necessarily,
my first husband
was Tom Jones.

Some hits of Englebert;
After the Loving
A Man Without Love
Am I That Easy to Forget
There Goes My Everything
Please Release Me.

Some hits of Tom;
Its Not Unusual
Whats New Pussycat
Green Green Grass of Home
Delilah
Love Me Tonite
Without Love
She's A Lady

LOL! Yep, I would always confuse the two myself, but, um, as your poem brigs to light, kinda, not so often does the opposite gender.  Enjoyed!
